New changes in the offing at work. Do I relish wading through too many spreadsheets? Or having too many meetings and discussions for ideas, suggestions, action plans and what-have-yous? Nope and nope. But with change comes work. It’s a given.
I look forward to the change, though. It’s all good. Some (or maybe, most) of the challenges the company, in general, and the different groups, specifically, are going through right now will see a solution. I am optimistic about it. There will always be the naysayers: those who resist change with all their might, people not willing to work with everyone else to effect change, the critics who cannot see anything good come from something, the plain lazies. Tough. These changes are going to happen. There is no stopping it. So either get with the program or go be stagnant someplace else.
He who rejects change is the architect of decay. The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery. - Harold Wilson
